How do I Replace A Lost or Stolen Phone?
The phone of an Airtalk subscriber should be notified as soon as possible if it has been lost or stolen. If AirTalk determines that terms and conditions have been violated, you may be terminated from the phone program.
For Link Wireless to provide a new mobile device, customers must provide valid personal information. Suppose a customer wishes to replace their lost or stolen device after forty-five (45) days. In that case, they must contact Airtalk Wireless and agree to pay any charges associated with returning the device via Link Lifeline.
Deactivating your lost or stolen phone temporarily
If subscribers fail to notify Airtalk Wireless of a missing handset, their account will be deactivated and suspended. New SIM cards and replacement devices will be provided free of charge by Airtalk. Customers can continue using the Airtalk service once the new phone has been activated.
The problem arises when an Airtalk Wireless phone is returned to the company within thirty (30) days of delivery because it needs to be fixed. You will receive a free replacement device in that case. The delivery date passed more than thirty (30) days ago.
Reactivation of a new or recovered phone
ACP phone program is also subject to termination by Link Wireless at any time without notice. Mobile devices are limited to one per customer on Airtalk Wireless’ Lifeline Program. A new phone must also be activated before the customer can continue using Airtalk.
Airtalk Wireless will replace a malfunctioning phone if it is returned within thirty (30) days of delivery. A replacement device will be sent out free of charge in that case. Since the delivery date, more than thirty (30) days have passed.
If the device needs to be replaced, there will be an additional fee. If a lost or stolen phone is found within thirty (30) days of being reported missing or stolen, it is considered recovered.
